    Once again we have concentrated all of our efforts in Afghanistan. I heard a report that there is £400,000 per soldier in backup. Now while I want to see our vtroops properly equipped and supported, this seems a hell mof a lot of money. I wonder how much the Yanks spend and if our NATO 'partners' are paying their full whack.

    DL Yanks are 1 million bucks per trooper. If USD tanks we cannot buy local loyalty. Watch the commercial real estate bubble really trash the banks. If the USD then buys 6 cents a dollar then the USD cost is over 14 miilion per trooper. UK plc is broke, our guys will be left to it. Ever heard of Dien Bhen Phu?
